Health and disease over the lifespan

This constellation of research on family, maternal and child health reflects multiple levels of influence from macro political and economic structures, levels of government and policy institutions, global, national, and local labor markets and healthcare organizations, community and neighborhood contexts, family structures and relationships, individual agency, and finally the molecular level where genes and biological, chemical and social environments interact. The HPC Faculty Associates’ expertise cover all stages of life course from preconception to adulthood (including aging), ready to form a complete understanding of upstream causal mechanisms and downstream evidence-based translational research.
