Computational approaches to population and health sciences have been repositioned in the new millennium and our HPC Faculty Associates are both pioneers and adaptors in developing and applying these tools. Their work covers agent-based modeling, systems science approaches, data science applications for analyzing big data from traces of internet and media data, mobile device designs for preventive measures and interventions, online randomized control trials, machine learning algorithms, life course research, and causal inference models.
